Creatures

Creatures are a clasic representation of what is considered a monster in monster taming video games. They are born of the inspiration of the community. Through the power of code I, The Magician will work my best to program Creatures of all shapes and sizes, that can move in ever evolving ways, with as much variety of statlines as possible, to cultivate new Planets, and reaching new Pantheon, leading to more heights, more Creatures, and more. Where will which pathologies take? How will they morph The Planets reality? And how will these outcomes shape the game? All will be revealed in delta.
Creatures are the encapsulation of multiple pathologies or Pantheon. A Pantheon can be considered to be a specialized skill tree that includes traits and other bonuses in addition to being a skill tree of new moves and stat upgrades. At Stage: 1 evolution, Creatures are 3 Pantheon, a Type or elemental signifier, family Pantheon which defines the family an example of this are the bird creatures commonly found at the beginning of monster taming games will stereotypically be given the Early-Bird Pantheon, and finally the a Pantheon for the core gimmick of the design. At Stage: 2, Creatures are 4 Pantheon and 5 should they reach Stage: 3. By mastering the Pantheon Players will gain a deeper understanding of Creature functionality and how to get the most out of each Creature. While a Creature does not evolve through Pantheon they do gain access to pathologies in the form of actions and skills which ignite the inspiration for change.

Creatures act as common Hero Units in standard RTS/moba games. They have a move command, a basic attack, three skill/action attacks, and an ultimate. They are controlled with controls similar to standard action RTS play. They are selected by clicking and holding the left mouse button while dragging the cursor over the Creature and then releasing the left mouse button with the highlighting selection area in any way colliding with any team Creatures' sprite. Once selected the right mouse button can be pressed to have all selected team Creatures move to the right clicked position. This calls for Creatures to move directly to the point ignoring incoming inputs. Should the Player wish their Creatures to engage any hostile Creatures en route to the selected position, the Player must press the F-Key instead the right mouse button. The first Creature selected is automatically highlighted giving Players the ability to give them skill attack commands using the 1-Key, 2-Key, or 3-Key depending on the corresponding skill. Remember to appropriately target the cursor over enemy Creatures to land skills. Some Creatures also have access to an ultimate attack by pressing the 4-Key. Basic attacks are typically automatic but skill attacks usually have a cooldown. Skills are not just for damage and can do a host of utility like escaping with dashes and leaps, boosting or cursing other Creatures, and even cultivating the environment.
